The sun shone all week in Dublin and although I tried to spot Bono Vox in a few pubs, I instead met friendly, smiling strangers with whom I toasted with some Guinness.
F&D I met literally by chance in southern Europe. I was photographing a couple for their wedding and they were walking by. They saw me and asked "hey, are you coming to photograph our wedding in Ireland?".
Well sometimes life surprises, and there are connections and entanglements that continue to amaze me and for which I can only be grateful.
The civil ceremony took place in Dublin's City Hall, a beautiful place to get married, and taking the wedding photos was inspiring. Dublin's City Hall is located in the city centre ( you can find the official website by clicking here ), so it was not difficult to discover interesting corners where to take the couple's wedding photos. We strolled to Trinity College and through the pubs of the city centre.
After a few days we had a private ceremony in the Irish countryside about an hour south of Dublin, near Stratford where we took pictures in a beautiful church without a roof.
Here are some of the pictures, many have remained private but I thank the bride and groom for allowing me to publish some of them.
I travel all over Europe photographing the most authentic weddings, write to me if you like my work and think we can work together.
